thanks for your input. Let me know when you open your bar or music venue and I will give you some suggestions. Until then, I guess i will have to live with what i created (as a side project) and continue to book music, which is what it's all about.

Whatever happened to Cass McCombs? I have never been to M&W but would make it out there for that.
BTW he has a huge following amongst skateboarders and Baton Rouge has very fertile skate culture.

HB ...... didn't get much feedback from Cass's people, but i would love to have him. HE just played here in Los Angeles and heard it was fantastic. Bummed i missed it.Going to follow up and see if i can some traction on Cass.

Does it? Like I said I've never been but assumed it was near the catfish banks/Pastime area. It actually is on the banks of the river? If so that's cool.

It's across from the Pastime and backs up to the levee which is CLOSE ENOUGH. Heady, you should give it a shot. It's a great venue, you would probably be pleasantly surprised.

It's directly across from the thirteenth gate. Under the bridge in the same building the old L Bar used to be

Heady ... it's not on the banks of the river, but is probably one of the closest bars and certainly small music venues to the river anywhere. Just let me know when are ready to catch a show and we will put you on the TDMB guest list. IT really is a cool room for a show or party.
