I’ll probably check out the new Grimes and Guided by Voices albums today. I’m hearing this is the best GBV album in awhile.

Also going back to last week, the new Tame Impala is really hitting the spot for me.

the new Grimes

It's phenomenal. Which is unsurprising but I was braced to be underwhelmed because I was lukewarm on a few of the singles and mixes shes dropped. But as a cohesive album it's a altogether different vibe. It's atmospheric and beautiful. Im on a long drive to the airport and on my 2nd listen already

Full disclosure im a huge Grimes fan tho

Ozzy's new, and probably final, album is out today. The band for this album is Post Malone's guitarist, who also produces, with Duff McKagan on bass and Chad Smith on drums. Interesting mix there. Reviews are decent.

Friday 2/28/20 Good Morning, what’s new?
Phoebe Bridgers released a new song and video Garden Song I dig it. The video is NSFW as it opens up with her toking a bong.

Was kind of hoping for a different kind of NSFW from Phoebe.

Caribou has changed so much. Really liked Andorra when it came out but I just can't get into much after that.

As much as I hate the band name, Soccer Mommy does some interesting stuff. New album is pretty good.

I’m not super into any of the four bands I listed, but I’ll give them all a chance. I’ve heard good things about the Caribou album. I’ve only heard a limited amount of his past stuff. I thought the first Soccer Mommy album was solid. A few good tracks, but didn’t really maintain my interest throughout its runtime.

Two albums from this year that I’ve really been enjoying that I discovered after the Friday they were released are:

Beach Bunny- Honeymoon.....Really catchy, hooky indie rock that doesn’t overstay it’s welcome (album is like 25 minutes)

Dan Deacon- Mystic Familiar.....Upbeat Indie electropop/psychedelia that gives off some Animal Collective vibes at times.

Follow her instagram. Not kidding, she does the occasional bathroom lingerie shoot.....which seems weird for her.

I saw him open for Future Islands a few years back. Good stuff.

Not a 2020 release, but on Tom Misch's debut album.

Wondering

RA the Rugged Man puts out something for people who like conscious rap and storytelling.
