So it’s gonna be a three part album telling three different stories.

The first two have been released and maybe my family is fricked up but that shite hit me hard (mainly because of my mother) The album has a really dark theme about addiction and how it affects everyone in the family.

Ill link the first story if you’re interested you can find the rest.

Donna 1 of 10
Life In The City 2 of 10
Gloria 3 of 10

Sounds a lot like the last album to me. Glad they are sticking with what works.

Eventually the Lumineers will run out of female names to use as song titles

They are getting pretty big into creating a world of recurring themes and characters.

I heard quite a few callbacks to the last album.

Man I don't go looking for the Lumineers but when they come on Pandora or Spotify lists I don't skip them

They're douchey try hards, but the music is fine by any reasonable standard unless you just don't like the genre.

I was just going to ask how many songs do they shout in unison "HEY!" on this one.

I would suggest those who hate this band and think they are just hipster folk pop listen to the last two tracks.

Jimmy Sparks has a Carolina drama feel to it and is an excellent song.

The last song Salt and The Sea is great as well and not what people would expect from the lumineers.

I'll check it out and report back

I think I saw them open for U2 at Soldier field and was surprised that the crowd wasnt more into it.

This. Salt is one of the best songs of the year.
