I was a little too critical of this album when it first dropped
I’ve listened to it 15-20 times and it has grown on me.
It’s better than what I gave it credit for and I’m enjoying it now

I would like this album a whole lot more if What Have I Done To Help wasn’t on it. Imo it’s one of the worst songs Isbell has ever put on a album and to lead off with it just puts me in a negative mood right off the bat.
I really don’t give a shite about politics or if a song is supposed to be SJW or what. I just like good songs and that wasn’t one.

After a few more listens I’ve determined it to be unlistenable. Just can’t get into any of it. frick it
