I'm guessing it was wax or some shatter and they weren't sure what to make of it. Saying it is resin is technically correct, but not colloquially correct.

Don't know about you guys but I like to smoke all my drugs. Xanax, lsd, coke, xtc. Smoking drugs is where's it at.

LOL, went to the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento several months back. Security didn't give the first damn about weed. Walked in with a cigarette pack stuffed full of joints. The dude in front of me had a big bag of buds in his hand as he was getting searched for weapons. He showed it to security, the guard shrugged his shoulders and waved him through.
