I'm under 25 and well aware of "your" music. The fact that you put Journey on there totally discredits anything music related you have to say

My apologies, this didn't go as I had planned. I posted this on the OT and was trying to be kind of funny and serious at the same time.
Maybe I'm biased, but the musical artists I grew up with, several that I linked to, were true artists, and I really don't see much of that in today's music.
I wasn't trying to be derogatory to the music of today, but just trying to point out that music has taken a real step back, in my mind, and wanted to make sure young people at least looked at what was created when music was at it's best.

People who were teenagers in the 50s and 60s said the same thing about the bands you listed. Teens and young adults of today will say the same thing about bands in 20 years.

True. But I think for the most part the 60s, 70s and some 80s will still be popular a lot longer than 90s and 00s other than some fun one hit wonders.

I'm an old fricker but Superstition is the only good song you posted. Your crap is just older than the new crap.

The stuff you listed is mostly meh to awful
I hate much of the stuff that is popular today (i.e. rap) but that doesn't mean good music isn't being made. You just have to search for it.

90s had the best music imo

I could link 6 songs released this year alone that is better than most of that shite you just posted.
Step away from 98.1 for at least an hour and learn something about music
