What have you been listening to?

Parquet Courts - Human Performance
Day Wave - Hard to Read
Damien Jurado - Visions of Us on the Land

The 1975 - I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are Beautiful Yet So Unaware of it

Weezer - White Album

Other than that, really nothing. It's been a pretty Meh year for music so far.

Clearly it's not just me. But I have not put forth too much effort either. I'd have to say that the new Damien Jurado album is probably my favorite so far.

Kevin Morby - Singing Saw - probably the best one I've heard so far.

Sturgill Simpson - A Sailor's Guide To Earth - a close second.

Black Mountain - IV - third best. The opening track is probably my favorite new song of 2016 so far.

Only 3 that have had an impression on me in the positive.

Just listened to this one for the second time. It is good. Need a few more listens before I decide how much I like it though.

The upcoming album I am most looking forward to is Car Seat Headrest's Teens of Denial. All three singles have been great and I loved his album last year.

Not really into the hipster or rap as much as most on this board. Here's what I've liked:

Sturgill Simpson - A Sailors Guide
David Bowie - Blackstar
Buddy Miller - Cayamo Sessions
All Them Witches - Lightning at the Door
Ray Lamontagne - Ouroboros
Kamasi Washington - The Epic

Need to check out Parquet Courts and Woods. Loved their last albums

The only things so far this year that's really impressed me is Baroness' album 'Purple', Royal Thunder's 'Crooked Doors', and Courtney Barnett's 'Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit'. Can't get enough of any of them.

Maybe it's been mentioned here and I just haven't seen it, but Suicide Songs by MONEY is one of the more underrated releases of the year thus far.
