2 of your top 3 examples lists multiple songs they could be. It’s the opposite of what you are claiming

Happy Birthday

"Closer to Home", GFR for those of us over 60

No one said Satisfaction yet? I challenge you to find ten people above the age of 20 that would not recognize that from the three opening notes!
When you start counting them up the number of classic instantly recognizable intro riffs Keith Richards as come up with its pretty remarkable.

- Sweet Home Alabama (gotta be #1 of all time. Not even close) - Hells Bells - Under Pressure (OR Ice Ice Baby) - Every Breath You Take (OR the Puff Daddy version) - Sweet Leaf (Black Sabbath) - Stranglehold - When the Levee Breaks - Life In the Fast Lane - Sin's A Good Man's Brother - Heart of Gold - Can't You Hear Me Knocking - Free Fallin' - Seven Nation Army (this song can DIAF.. but I guess it qualifies as classic at this point)
I am not going to say which 4, but I wouldn't know all 4 of them if they were played in their entirety. I counter with:
Start Me Up - Rolling Stones
Blue Collar Man - STYX
Let's Get It On - Marvin Gaye

There are a whole lot more people both dead and alive that have heard and recognize "Satisfaction". We forget we have a Southern bias, Sweet Home AL was not getting the same kind of air play in Manhattan as the South East US.
