Did you not read my post moron? I listed at least 5 bands or members who at one point or another actually cited LP as an influence, including one fairly massive hard rock band in 2019. Besides that, they’ve had untold numbers of bands compared to them over the last two decades and citing them as having a musical influence on their style.
But yeah your 20 bands on the first page have influenced more bands than Linkin Park. Bright eyes being more influential than Linkin Park...ok guy. And I actually know bright eyes more than the casual music listener.
You’re actually proving my statement that your list is a joke because when someone brings forth a band that belongs above or next to some of those bands, you’re close mindedness is keeping you from admitting you just simply goofed up and forgot about them.

Your entire attitude begets petulance. Also, calling someone the name of a dead lead singer of a band they’re a fan of is a low I wouldn’t sink to. Not exactly the model for maturity.

Man they have some narrow minded responses to this thread. QOTSA are tops and rightfully so. Radiohead and Modest Mouse are simply greatbands that are soundtr acks to life. SPOON - what more can you say?? Simply great music.
Solid list not sure I can argue with anyone being on that. I would like to offer up a few now.
All Them Witches
System of a Down
Muse ( goes back a while now)
Porcupine Tree ( been around since 90s best albums IMO are from this century)
alt-J ( missing out if you havent listened)
The Shins ( suprised the OP left this band out)
Maybe Ill think of a few more later.

quote:That album was released in 2000. Isbell joined DBT in 2001.
ask any modern alt country/americana/folk band right now if "heartbreaker" was influential to them and see what their answer is.
Look, over all, you have your claimed influences too close in time to whom you claim were influenced. Isbell's would more likely be people like George Jones than Ryan Adams.

Drive by truckers is also a good suggestion
