And I ain't takin' it to the Music Forum. Listenin' to:
Southern Accents.

One of his greatest. In fact, it should be the baw national anthem. Got it all.

Pure poetry, frick the Yankees.

quote:

There's a southern accent, where I come from
The young'uns call it country
The Yankees call it dumb
I got my own way of talkin'
But everything is done, with a southern accent
Where I come from
Now that drunk tank in Atlanta's
Just a motel room to me
Think I might go work
Orlando If them orange groves don't freeze
I got my own way of workin'
But everything is run, with a southern accent
Where I come from
I got my own way of working
When everything is wrong
With a southern accent
Where I come from
For just a minute there I was dreaming
For just a minute it was all so real
For just a minute she was standing there, with me
There's a dream I keep…

Hell yeah. One of the greatest live versions with the crowd singing. Sax solo. Got to see him live in concert twice.

50 Greatest Songs.

Free Fallin' was probably the greatest song.

Nah, but I was related. You might be too. Check Ancestry. You've heard of "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon", right? Well, with certain people and Tom it's actually Five.

Just hope Tom's too stoned tonight and not reading the O-T.

I've been surprised at how hard I took Tom's death. He was the first celebrity whose death really made me sad. He just seemed like a cool guy. A vintage guitar and amp geek(like me). He also had impeccable taste in music as his SiriusXM program 'Buried Treasure' showed. Yeah, I miss Tom Petty. Died much, much, much too soon.
