Metallica announces 2027 Tour dates. Still no Louisiana dates

Looks like the closest they will perform is AlamoDome in San Antonio . How does the AlamoDome get a show but not Tiger Stadium or Superdome?

Meh, I would have to take out a loan to see Metallica in today’s world. I’ll just take comfort in the fact that I saw them twice, and much closer to their prime.

Because they will sell out the Alamodome. The last big hard rock/metal show at the Superdome was the GNR “Reunion” & it didn’t come close to selling out. Promoters look at stats. Stats don’t lie.

That had low attendance the whole tour. They went back to theaters,and arenas. Selling out shows again.

Looked at these this morning as well. It’s $160 for the first 3 rows (already sold out). $120 for the next ten or so rows. $100 and cheaper the further you go back.
I’m in no way saying the price to see a concert isn’t higher than it used to be, but why do people feel the need to over inflate what’s really happening? What’s the point of the exaggeration? This is a sincere question.

It wasn’t intentional. There seem to be hundreds of sites that sell concert tickets now. I may have very well been on a re-sell site.
