Merry Christmas to me. Guitar stuff.

Christmas Day will be slim for me as I am getting my stuff early.
Today I expect. My loaded pickguard with an obsidian blender switch and Custom Shop fender PUPs, new output/input Jack (what’s the proper term), and new strings. Same strings that are on the guitar now to try to compare.
What are you guys getting? Not for others. For yourselves. Lol

Everyone always needs a new delay pedal.
I got a Les Paul just a few months ago. All I am getting is a Gibson hoodie.

Ask me how I know for sure Santa bought this for me already. I just have to figure out how to put it under the tree without my wife noticing!!

My wife gave me the green light on the Solar Guitars 6th Anniversary sale, which blew up their server a couple of weeks ago. BOGO (Buy any 1 series from the selected list and get any 2 series from the gift list at checkout). I have a fanned fret 6 string and my first-ever 7 string arriving tomorrow. They'll also be my first guitars with no fret inlays, so I'm very curious how the transition will go.

I ordered Notaklon pedal in late November, new e-mail from JHS pedals (manufacturer) stated order arrives late January. Anyone else ordered Notaklon ?

Oh yeah. Money Board.
Those cards are gone. One emergency card. Paying it all down. We just consolidated. Which was a decent move by just luck. Great interest rates locked in and paying fast instead of minimums. Can’t imagine what interest rates would be now. We are about 2/3 out of the hole.

Not for me really but I have a new Gibson SG-61 in my closet ready to be sitting on a Hercules stand by the tree for my soon to be 18 year old son. He started playing about 6 months ago on an acoustic Fender CD-60 and has progressed very quickly. Played the lead on Hotel California a week ago in front of 250 people at a school guitar class concert and didn’t miss a note. This is his 1st electric and what he has been hoping to save money to eventually buy. He will be very excited. Beautiful guitar IMO.

The shop's CFO (my wife) approving me keeping the shop's first "dinky" strat is plenty enough Xmas toy for me ... I haven't put this thing down since I built it.

Awesome. I keep harping on it but I got my first Gibson fairly recently. They are very much worth the price.

I didn't think I would be getting anything for myself, but I just found out that another one of my guitars sold on Reverb. I think I will be putting a left hand bigsby on my yellow telly with the Fret shack pickups, or doing some recording.

I'd said I wasn't getting anything, but I am now GASing very hard for one of these after hearing a few demos. The Friedman Jake E Lee 20 watt head. It's described to be like a Plexi and a boosted JCM800 all in the same amp.
