1. Uniques, feat Joe Stampley, from Springhill

2. John Fred & The Playboy Band. They had one international megahit and numerous local hits in Shreveport.

3. Louisiana's LeRoux

4. Tommy McLain

5. Cookie & The Cupcakes (swamp rock, early 1960's)

6. Horatio & The Hormones-- Battle Of The Bands contestant ~ 1968.

My response of "lol no" is from almost 6 years ago. I actually don't remember why I wrote it

Since I've known for decades The Residents members were from Shreveport, my guess is I was saying they weren't a band called The Residents until they were in San Francisco
