Looking for some Good Classical Music to listen to at work.

O.K. so I'm afraid I may hear crickets on this one, but I listen to music all day at work and have always enjoyed Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture since I was exposed to it in middle school and am looking for some other suggestions to work through during the next few weeks or months.
The only stuff I have listened to all the way through is 1812 Overture as mentioned
Bheetoven's 5th and 9th
Mozart - Magic Flute Oveture
and Bach - Toccata And Fugue In D Minor
I am much more partial to anything with some powerful, violent, and scary portions (I don't know any of the classical music terms) so anything that seems to fit that mold would be great. But any suggestions anyone has would be much appreciated.

I work all week at a desk. Music is about the only thing that keeps me sane. So i got plenty of time to check anything out. Appreciate the tip.

I hear you, but as an Alabama fan in New Orleans, sports radio isn't quite tuned towards my tastes.
If you haven't listened to it all the way through, try out the Overture of 1812. The last portion of it is what they play in that movie V for Vendetta when the building blows up. Has a cool story behind it, as it was written about the Russian defeat of the invading French I believe. I could have something mixed up as it has been a while since I looked into it.

If you're in New Orleans just listen to WWL. The people who call in are some quality entertainment. They had a discussion about teams with Indian names possibly changing. One guy called in and said "I'm 1/16th Cherokee and I'm not offended." 1/16th? well no shite you don't care

I live near Metairie but don't know what restaurant you are talking about. Wait yes I do, on Harrison, in Lakeview? I think it is called Bama's chicken and ribs. Delicious.
I listen to WWL on the way into work, they do some racist arse shite on their. Hilarious but I can't believe they get away with some of what they do. I guess anyone who would care doesn't listen to them.
Will definitely listen to that Chopin stuff in a few. Any other specific titles of his you all would recommend?

Clockwork Orange soundtrack has some good ones. I don't know the names but they are popular. I think

The ring cycle from wagner will keep you busy for years. At work, and would have to look up some brahms. There Will Be Blood uses a great brahms piece, can't remember the name.

Mendelssohn - Midsummer night's dream.
Pretty much all of Mozart's piano concertos. Not scary or powerful, but very "accessible" while being pure genius at the same time. Similarly, Respighi's Ancient Airs & Dances.
If you want scary, Berlioz' Symphony Fantastique is pretty good... used in the driving scene in the Shining.
Almost forgot one of my favs.. Smetana's The Moldau (from his larger work, Ma Vlast).

Bela Bartok is pretty good for creepy and classical, especially Bluebeards castle.
