Little Feat's self-title is their best album by far

Strawberry Flats
It's their classic album, followed closely (but not surpassed by) Dixie Chicken and Feats Don't Fail Me Now
I mean I love the white-boy funk of later albums, but come on, Lowell George just tearing up some slide, singing weird lyrics, and out-Skynyrd'ing (?) Lynyrd Skynyrd themselves. Doesn't get better than that.

I dunno, it's a good album
Just a little too slick, mid 70's California Steely Dan sounding for me. I mean when does Columbus come out, like '78? That's pretty late for Little Feat. I mean as a band they're pretty much done by '78.
I like the first couple of albums in the early 70's a lot better. A lot more real sounding with a lot less slick production going on.
I dunno, whatever, just my $.02
