the Black Angels- Phoosphene Dream (60s-70s soudning rock)
Russian Circles- Enter (instrunemtal metal)
Isis- In the Absence of Truth (progressive-avant grade metal)
Went band name, and my favorite album by that band.

Was it at a Tomato Festival, considering STP was doing a festival tour just a couple of years ago? Opening up for a once major but now forgotten band does not equal being a well known band yourself. It's called product placement by the record label to get that band exposure. Why? Because they are a LESSER KNOWN BAND.
As a matter of semantics, you do realize that LESSER KNOWN does not mean UNKNOWN?

This Texas band is of the same blusey rock style as ZZ Top and Guitarist Rusty Burns is in the Texas guitar Hall of Fame. I saw these guys late 70's as a warm up band to some headliner I can not remember and they blew em of the stage. Good music.........
