Saw them at the Smoothie King in NOLA in February. It was a good show.

No Ace no care. Not paying money to watch corpses anyway.

The older I get, the more I hate this band. "Rock and Roll All Night and Party Every Day". Just terrible music.
Remember the Kiss movie from the 70s. I understand it was the 70s, but man, that's some cheesy crap.
I remember when they first came out without their makeup. I was like "put the makeup back on, please."

shite. I guess I’ll be watching the game on DVR after the concert. Bought tickets months ago.

The Bossier City folks will not wanna miss their beloved Longhorns play football.

When I saw the title of this thread I was going to chime in and wonder aloud if they are getting a bit old for it but if they still are able to put on a decent show and there are people still willing to attend I guess it's cool.
I never got in to their music much myself but I know they do have a pretty strong following. More power to them

It was never about their music. It is mostly crap and I was one of the biggest KISS fans ever. It was all about their 70's super hero persona and concert entertainment. Taking KISS seriously is the first mistake. They are over the top showmen and not really fine musicians. They were innovators in the music industry despite their music. And that is a rarity.

As a kid and an adult I've always hated kiss the same, the second someone tells me they like that shite I immediately end any present and future music conversation with them, their taste is shite

I was a huge KISS fan as a kid in the late 70’s. Now that I’m older and can see Gene Simmons for the self-absorbed, arrogant, greedy and morally bankrupt a-hole that he is, I have no desire to support such a prick by paying a hyper inflated price for a substandard attempt at reproducing live music to make his arse richer, and further pad his massive ego.
frick Gene Simmons and frick KISS.
Good fricking riddance when they finally remove themselves from the public eye. It can’t come soon enough.

Gene is 70 and an a-hole. Paul is 67, and his stage banter sounds like someone doing a parody of him.
But they sure did put on a hell of a fun show last night. The audience was loving it. Was surprised at the mix of ages there. Everything from old folks to youth and even little kids.
I haven’t listened to their music since I was a kid, but the two concerts I’ve seen as an adult were super entertaining.

You're an a-hole.

I was through seeing them, but I didn't rule out the possibility of my inner voice saying "frick it, it's probably their last go, so check it out"...then I saw the sea of YouTube videos busting Paul Stanley for lip syncing on this tour (a subject they'd always been vocally against, no less), and I realized I made the right decision spending my money elsewhere...
