I have always liked them, but never really meet any fans in person. Considering they are from South Texas, I am guessing someone from Td.com would know them.

Sunshine Rain and Black Flag are two of the greatest 500 songs of mine. Doug P is a terrific lead singer and they their rhythm section has always been on point, IMO.

What say you?

Doug Pinnik is the biggest pot head you will ever meet in your life. Used to live next tomy buddy in an apartment complex in H-town years ago. Dude had a permanetn green cloud following him but he was a very cool down to earth dude.

Haven't heard from them in a long time. Discovered them while living far from the south in the lates 80s. For several years they were my favorite band that no one knew of.

Always loved the great vocals mixed with the heavy sound in those years. Seems like they might have had a hard time getting good marketing. They came from Christian music roots and early stuff had overtly spiritual lyrics. Later Pinnick came out as gay. That dichotomy might have had something to do with difficulty finding a niche.

Checked wiki, Gaskill recently had a major heart attack. Makes me feel friggin old!
