I just feel bad for you. I have a buddy who is 45-46 and always listens to it. He listens quietly at home. When we have parties or get togethers at their house, you can tell he's had beer when the "techno" is on. the wife ends up making him change it.
We actually went to a EDM club here in Katy. For the Katy folk it was Club Amnesia. 3 of us went after dinner for a few months ago. His idea. It was hilarious. We were OLD!!! It was a non smoking place but allowed a LOT of vaping. One dude looked about 50! And he was "club dude" looked like he was at a one-man rave. He bounced and danced the ENTIRE time we were there (north of 2 hours). I cannot imagine what that type of hangover must feel like at my age or 5-6 years older. Alcohol and a lot of non-alcohol.
Placed shut down. Apparently EDM types forget to pay rent. Which is amazing in a place that asked for $900 bottle service.

Last I checked, This board is still composed of philistines that think jason isbell, sturgill simpson, dave Matthew, chris stapleton, mumford and sons, foo fighters, etc qualify as good music
