Same "pop" style he's known to make outside of his Continuum album.
It’s been said you’re either gonna love it or hate it. There’s no in between. So far, I’m only feeling the “Last Train Home”. The rest are okay. Four songs were released over a 4 year span.

Dude is just consistent. Nothing will match Continuum unfortunately.

Just finished the first play through . I like it. It’s a solid album. Nothing groundbreaking and not continuum level but it’s a much better album than The Search For Everything. Easy to listen to

I agree with this. I listened this morning as I was getting ready for work and I liked all of the songs except Blue Wild. As you said, it's nothing groundbreaking but it's solid, easy, listening with at least a different sound than other "pop" music out right now.

Nice album.
I didn’t expect this given the theme of the album, but I was just hoping to get some super complex guitar shredding classic Mayer. Feel like average guitar players could play all of these songs. Been like that his last few albums. I guess that’s not what he’s going for anymore but he’s so talented I just want to hear more tracks like Edge of Desire, In Your Atmosphere, Covered in Rain, etc. and less like Born and Raised (I really like b&r too but he can do so much more). I’m probably being selfish.

that seems to be everyone's favorite due to the amount of guitar playing that's in it.
it's been out for awhile now as a single, but "i guess i just feel like" has an awesome outro solo. it's in the top 3 for me on this album.

Same. Can’t get into that song. He tries to be too funny sometimes. He admitted he made the lyrics of that song brutal on purpose.
After a re-listen, top song IMO is I guess I just feel like (even though it’s been out a couple years) and then Shouldn’t Matter But it Does closely behind it.

Bought tickets for Atlanta thinking it was Chicago for some reason. Now I have 2 sets of tickets for both cities hoping Ticketmaster will refund the ones for Atlanta.

He signed 2000 copies of the CD to promote sales. I was lucky enough to grab one for $18 + shipping. A great bargain.
