Feel like I could walk into a bar/club/garhole in all corners of the globe and the folks in there could be banging there head to the opening foot stomp/clap.

What say the music board?

Probably...it is played in many sports venues, in many schools at pep rallies, on many movies ant TV shows, on the radio...and on and on. I hear it now as often as I did 30 years ago.

I read somewhere (about 10 years ago) that Sweet Home Alabama is considered to be the best known rock song.

One thing I hate about going back to Bama is when a band plays this at a ball, wedding , or other events and they do the Roll Tide Roll chant

I feel like it could be a shitty AC/DC song that is the most recognized, but it's probably Gangnam Style

I don't Africans or Asians know the song so no. I've traveled to latin america and have never heard it. Maybe in English speaking countries, so most likely gangnam style for now.

according to Rolling Stone it is the Happy Birthday song we all sing on birthdays. It gets sung everyday of every year by millions upon millions.
