I don't think it's possible for anyone with a soul to like either of those bands.

I thought MCR was just ok until I saw them open for linkin park at some festival at the woodlands. They put on a really good show and I have listened to them a lot more since.
I'm not a huge Fallout Boy fan.

Scruffy hit the nail on the head with this one. I'm pretty sure the only people I ever knew that liked them were those kids that claimed to be "emo" back in high school.

I'm a ginger, so I guess it works.

And to OP: Yes, I don't care about MCR but I love the CRAP out of Fall Out Boy. (3 different words. )

Folie a Deux is a good album. Ridiculous in many many ways, but a very good listen.

what a bizarre question. you are allowed to like whatever bands you want

Fall Out Boy's first two albums were perfect for their time and place. They were a fun band in concert when they still played small venues. I didn't get into their last couple of albums and I didn't like seeing them in an ampitheater at all

My Chemical Romance probably should have stopped after The Black Parade, since they will never top it. They are a good time in concert...they have the "big" sound to carry stadiums. Always enjoyed the band though. A bit strange sometimes, but whatever

only if you're a girl between 16-21. they are equivalent to Good Charlotte without the first good album.

Probably my favorite out of all of them, despite how much it got panned. I especially love how good their vocalist became, and now he's one of my favorites with his solo stuff.

I'm outside that age range.

Similar experience. Wasn't a fan at all aside from their first album (I was in high school...cut me some slack ). They opened up for Blink 182 at the Gexa last fall and put on one HELL of a show. I don't listen to them regularly but they were pretty damn good live.

"Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" or "I brought you my bullets you brought me your love"?

Three cheers was their first commercial success. It's one of my favorite albums of all time. I haven't been a fan of them since high school, though. I don't really care for the two albums since Three Cheers.

Last two cuts on Black Parade Album are great songs.

That first major release FOB record is just non stop hooks. I know a majority of the MB loves a 5 minute pentatonic/blues scale over 3-4 chords or the alt. lovechild of the moment, but both of the bands mentioned made good albums.

Now live, yeah, both are horrible. They'd tell you the same.
