Is Alligator by The National the best album of this century?

I actually like Boxer more, but Alligator is great and a top ten contender for me.
My top 3 would be:
Modest Mouse- The Moon and Antarctica
The National- Boxer
Titus Andronicus- The Monitor

It's a pretty damn good album. I can think of quite a few better ones in the last 17 years off the top of my head

Cloud Nothings - Attack on Memory
The Shins - Oh, Inverted World/Chutes too Narrow

It's my favorite by them, though not my favorite of the century...
I saw them at the tiny arse red star when they were touring for this record in Oct. '05.

Strange pick from The National as most consider The Boxer to be their masterpiece, like Seaward said.
I'd also put Moon and Antarctica up there. That album is damn near perfect and is very accessible to just about anyone who's a fan of music.
But everyone's taste is different as to what they consider the "best." Some others that come to mind are:
Kid A
QOTSA - Songs for the Deaf
Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
