I'm way too picky when it comes to music...anyone else have this problem?

I only like a small fraction of the music I listen to. Like a very, very small fraction. The thing is when I do like a song, I will listen to it over and over until I'm tired of it. And the songs that I like, I like a lot. There's music playing all the time in my car, but only from specific mix CDs i've made with all of my songs. I want to be able to listen to the radio but can't because I end up getting bored of 90% of the songs and switching constantly between stations.

Anyone else have this issue?

I either use them or my iPhone through an aux cord. But the CDs just sound so much better.

Our only decent radio station is a mix station. The rock station is alright during the day, but horrid at night. And I don't really listen to much country anymore. Back when I had satellite radio, I pretty much always listened to Lithium and 90s on 9. Now with my Iphone, I really have no need for the radio in regards to music. The radio is almost exclusively for sports.

Have you ever tried pandora? Create a station and add all of your favorite artists and songs to it. It's an easy way to find new music that may interest you.

I went through a phase of this but you just have to want to keep an open mind and brauden your tastes. Once you start to get into a certain genre of music and have the motivation to discover new stuff, you won't have this problem anymore. Also get Spotify, radio is trash.

People who still care about some semblance of sound quality in their recordings.

I'm this way too. I can't even stand to leave Sirius on one station which is why I prefer the PNPs over the built ins. I can see 5 presets at once and quickly change to something when I see it come up.

I'm the exact opposite thanks to sites like what.cd, I have thousands of albums in my collection and never short of something new to listen to.

And with so many music blogs out there today I'm constantly discovering new artists.
