I just can't fathom a male liking it ... or finding her talented. I'm not familiar with her older "country" or "folk" music, but what I've breifly heard on the radio is all songs are synth-forward, overproduced, monotonous crap. It's reminds me of new U2 music. "But she writes her own songs!" 
Uhh...yea...most musicians do that, you know.
You want to hear a talented female artist? Listen to Adron, Emiliana Torrini, Sierra Hull, Grace Potter, etc. All are so, so, so much more talented than Swift.
