da drought 3 came out a year before too... he was on top of the hip hop world at that time

Hell yea fricking right. Drought 3-Carter 3 was fricking sick. Like what, 70+ features in 2007? The drought is over 4 plus the DJ Drama Dedication mixtapes, and NOLA nightmare 1-10
WEEZY frickING BABY!!

Glad we traded him to Miami for Jimmy Graham.

Tha Carter III was Weezy's suicide note. Someone should have taken the "talent" gun out of his hand before he killed his image and reputation as a legitimate rapper. This album is a far cry from a decent Wayne album. He picks it up on a handful of tracks but for the most part it's just a pop album. Wayne put down the skateboard and head back to the magnolia projects.

I prefer Carter II the most. I didn't say 3 was Wayne's best album. I just said I forgot how good it was. It was the last great Wayne album. I am not a human being and the carter IV don't come close IMO

see I didn't care for carter 2 all that much. I won't lie though. I appreciated wayne when he was way more gutter than when he started appealing to the masses. a white boy from mandeville could really feel his pain on the block is hot and 500 degreez

I wish he was still hungry like he once was.

Drought 3 and Dedication 2 are some of the best hip hops albums (not just mixtapes) ever
