Friends of mine saw them in Dallas this week. They said The Human League and Alison Moyet were excellent. Soft Cell was not.
I’ve seen all 3 within the last 2 years and my experience was similar.

Coincidentally, I was reading up on Human League recently. Back when they were just breaking big, they would arrive at televised appearances and such hours and hours early. Whereas their contemporaries would simply show up and perform to backing tracks, Human League would painstakingly set up their loops to create more of a live feel performance feel before each performance. Their video for "Don't You Want Me" was also one of the most expensive music videos at the time.
Edit to add: The other singers in the group had no musical background. They were simply associates plucked from the art scene because of their look.

Synth Britannia is the quintessential documentary on the early British synthpop movement. All the major players are interviewed and it provides detail and insight rarely seen before all in one documentary.
About 51 minutes in, they get into The Human League iteration that spawned Don’t You Want Me.
