How much bigger of a star does Aaliyah become?

She had the music career was starting in movies. Was a pretty face and well liked. Did have the R.Kelly issue but seemed to been swept under the rug.
Is she in Aguilera territory or bigger?

Her career was just starting to take off. She was talented, charismatic, and a natural onscreen.

Her performance in Queen of the Damned was terrible. Maybe she just seemed decent acting next to Stuart Townsend since he was 10x worse.

She wasn’t a natural but she had the ability to take over a movie. She never should’ve done Queen of the Damned.
I thought she would have been a better spokeslady in tv ads.
She was in my opinion going to be the star of the decade. She had that “it” whatever that “it” is.

Who knows? She could have been another Ashanti, who was everywhere right before she dropped off of the face of the Earth.

I don’t remember Ashanti being everywhere. But I remember Brandi being everywhere. Going from top hits, prom with Kobe, tv series, to I’m not sure where she is now.

I agree that the sky was the limit. I suppose it's possible that she was born a bit before her time - I believe that if she were 18 years old today that her potential would be much greater than it was back in her day.
