Seems like a new one pops up everyday....Can someone tell me what SiriusXM station I would hear one of his songs I certainly have never heard one on regular radio.

Regular radio has found ways to not play Grammy award winning songwriters. Same with Sturgill Simpson. They don’t play non pop country.

I would say country stations only play "pop country" in place of actual country

Oh I suppose to a certain extent but not sure he needs to fit into any specific category per se.

There’s a country element along with southern rock, folk, blues, etc.

Great lyricist/storyteller and unique voice with a lot of emotion.

Jason isbell is not a “country” artist by any stretch. He is a songwriter. He plays in a rock band.

Not probably...Sirius Outlaw Country plays him alot.

His sound is hit or completely whiff for me.
