Radio country, I mean. This "kick the dust up" bullshite from Luke Bryan has to be the final straw.

What's sad is that he's so bad now that it makes his early stuff look decent.

Another thing I've noticed is that when an artist loses his guitar, they go to absolute shite. Fast.

Most people like shitty arse music, that's just how it is. This appeals to the simplest of minds. "Omg he's talking about drinking while sitting on a tailgate, that's totally us!' As long as it's making money it will continue to be all over the radio. Same thing with people like Fetty Wap who sucks cox n dix as well.

you're asking this on a board that literally has 5 topics currently being discussed about "Drake".

People drive around in big arse pickup trucks these days. Genuine country is about walking, hitchhiking or riding the rails—and those days are gone for good.

Or, if you're David Allen Coe, it's about music and...David Allen Coe.

Country music has always sucked. At least some of it has. I mean, Conway Twitty? Come the frick on. He's every bit as cringe worthy as FL GA Line. Maybe worse.

I'm sure I'll get hate, but some of his early stuff (that didn't get on the radio) actually is decent. And that's probably because he used to actually write his own songs (and wrote songs for other artists). He's the very definition of a sell out.

Nice. You picked the absolute worst of that era.

Sort of agree.

Disagree.

The crack - get off of it - it's not doing you any good ... at all. If you want to say you like "Florida Georgia Line" - just say so - call it a guilty pleasure. But, don't try to bring down Conway Twitty to make yourself feel better. Cat had great hair.
