How good/bad is the Josh Abbott Band live?

Their studio stuff is usually pretty strong. I haven't been able to make their last couple shows here but from what I see on YouTube, they seem pretty weak as a live act.
I know L Boogie is big with the Texas acts. What's your opinion of them live?

I am not a JAB fan...however, I am friends with their fiddle player and sound guy so I went to a show once to support Preston and Dan. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Josh has a a lot of energy and is actually a pretty good performer, and the crowd was really into it. I'd say if you're a fan of Josh's music then you will probably have a great time

Awesome! It's just crazy to me how weak they sound on YouTube. I just need to get to a show and hear them in person.

Saw JAB live not too long ago in Ft Worth. I went in not expecting the best because I didn't think his voice would translate well into the live performances, but I came away pleasantly surprised. They were really entertaining and they sounded great.
