Going to Cody Johnson on the 17th and have never been. I’ve heard it’s pretty crowded, so wanted to hear from the MB about things to do? Getting in, getting drinks, etc. Just overall things to expect

uber/lyft from it can be a shite show.
you'll regret it the next day but if aren't driving, going to the wine bar the concert after is a good time and allows for the uber line to go down a good bit

Spring break time. Yeah it's going to be crowded especially if it's nice weather but staying where you can take the train would be the easiest IMO. Easy on/off.
Food lines can be long at peak times. There's plenty to spectate and people watch. Even with crowds, it's spaced out enough not to be a crazy problem. Other than that, expect a big fair with with Midway rides, booths, animals, etc.

It’s probably my third or 4th in my life. Just trying to make sure I don’t get blindsided with a huge crowd and a huge beer line

I've never done the wine garden; usually go to the Hideout for drinks and whatever country band is playing that night. Especially if I'm parked at Astroworld lot and want to wait for traffic to die down.
Parking at a hotel garage along the rail line is probably easiest for a visitor.

You will be All Hat, No Cattle just like the rest of the pretend cowboys

Getting in is easy. Getting out is a disaster. Especially if you’ve tied one on. Prepare for a painful death of buzz in the bus/cab/Uber/limo line.
As mentioned drinking anywhere after needs to be on Reliant property. The area is horrendous outside the park.
I suggest watching the actual rodeo. The concert will be just over an hour. Don’t know how much material the guy has. People who pay hundreds to see George Strait are nuts. He only has time to do about half of what you want.
