Got to see Bishop Gunn for the first time. They really won over the crowd. Of course Samantha Fish is always good. Lukas Nelson I saw for the 3rd time and his guitar playing and showmanship was phenomenal. I wasn't there to comment on the Friday lineup.

I went Friday, and American Aquarium was easily my favorite. Despite the fact that they play The Varsity frequently, this was actually my first time seeing them.

Trampled by Turtles was great. The tent to the right of the stage, the one that won best party, blew their load before the encore

I went and listened to Dumpstafunk instead and kinda regretted leaving that stage. What I heard from Trampled By Turtles when walking past sounded really good.

I honestly enjoyed every band Friday. Dumpstaphunk especially.

Been a fan for a while but it was my first time to see Lukas Nelson. Thought he was great.

One of the best line ups I've seen, incredibly diverse and tough to assemble in such a competitive festival market. AA and Lukas were the highlights for me. Boyfriend was a weird but cool touch. Wooks were great. Trampled by Turtles were exactly as I expected, which was awesome.
War and Treaty was the one I was most excited to see, havent fully decided what my takeaway was. Didnt feel like it was built for a festival stage, but some really great voices.

American Aquarium the fave.
The Iceman Special the sleeper pick.
Marco Benevento was good for what I saw of that and Samantha Fish better than the last time I saw her at Crescent City Blues & BBQ Fest.
I've tried with Lukas Nelson but he just doesn't click for me.
