Used to hang out with Henry and Guitar Kelly at the original Tabby's on North Blvd back in early 90's. Cool old dude....told some good stories about Howlin Wolf and Muddy.

I was always in Tabby's on Sunday night, but that was in the 1980's. I don't know how Tabby was able to avoid trouble for opening on Sunday, but he did. I think he did it under the pretext of serving food: for five bucks you could get a plate of redbeans and a bag of Lays. I used to love speaking with Silas Hogan. He played an old Gibson Melody Maker guitar and wore his aluminum Esso hardhat on state.
