Noob is a pretty irrelevant term. I have seen Phish multiple times each year since the comeback. Yeah, I didn't see them earlier because I would have been 15 during 2004 (when the didn't come near New Orleans) or 14 during 2003 (when they last played Atlanta, closest venue to NOLA)

The worst mindfrick I ever got was during cheese at bonnaroo one year. I lost it in the middle of the set and was yelling at my friend to tell me what time it was. In the 30 minutes prior to me yelling at my friend I didn't say a word and managed to convince myself that it was really the very first time I had ever tripped and that the last 4 years of my life were all in my head and just a part of the trip that would never end.
I also fell asleep in another persons tent that night I don't think they noticed me though
