Pusher is a great song.

This is gonna make me sound like a hipster but i got into melon way before no rain blew up. Shannon was in the dont cry gnr video. He was friends with axls little brother and sang back up on the song. In the video you can see shannon on the rooftop.

I hope not because that song is the same way I got into blind melon. Although it was long after no rain was out. Seeing how I was like 2 years old when it was released

Let me put it this way. I have a blind melon- Soup, nirvana-nevermind and pearl jam-ten cd and the blind melon cd is the only one I still listen to. Also, I named my dad's dog Nico Blue.

Mouthful of Cavities is one of my favorite songs ever.

Did anyone else go to the CD release a few years ago? Great luck that they were in BR that day. Acoustic show in Wherehouse Music off College. Travis put down the mic and the entire room sang Change. It was amazing, even without Shannon. The emotion was overwhelming.

I didn't go to the Varsity show that night for the same reason. The cd release was something I couldn't miss. I sat 3 feet in front of Rogers on the floor. I have no shame in admitting I welled up for a big portion of it. The entire room did. It seemed more like the entire room singing along rather than Travis singing.

I wanted them to just morph into Unified Theory with Chris Shinn.

If any Melon fans are unfamiliar, check out Abandon Jalopy, which is Brad Smith's soloish efforts. The other guys all appear on the first album, Mercy.

Pac was creepy enough. Heres my little shannon story that ill never forget. The last time i saw them was at a little club on the jersey shore, like a month before he died. During wilt, shannon had a bunch of grapes and was eating/throwing the grapes in the crowd. I was pretty close, maybe 3 people deep from the stage. I had my hand up to catch a grape. Shannon and i locked eyes, he pantomimed throwing me the grape 3 or 4 times. Finally he threw me the grape and i caught it. He gave me this big ole smile and a thumbs up. For a 17/18 year old kid, it was huge. Just typing this is making me choke up. I can still picture him smiling at me.
