Saw him couple weeks ago here in Houston. Second time I've seen him. Saw him in 2009 at Jazz Fest. He is not in the best of health...walks with a cane, and several times while singing would sing the same verse more than once. Crowd was very understanding. Verlon was awesome and can pick the hell outta a guitar. Talked with him a little after the show and is really nice.
If you are a fan...go see him now you might not have another chance (sorry to say).

Guy Clark is playing at the Dragon on May 13th too. The show on the 12th is soldout.
