Mark IIIs are fun to look into, the subtle differences in sound associated with the different color stripes make that series of Mark unique

Tiny Terror and Blackstar. Orange was always my weapon of choice.

I've likely owned or I'm sure I've at least played most of the stripes of IIIs over the years. I think I had already owned two or three in the 90s before I even knew different versions existed. The differences are so, so subtle, I don't think anyone (include Boogie's tech team) could distinguish between two dialed-in-identically heads in a blindfold A/B test if power amps are configured identically (Class A vs. Simulclass). I know I couldn't pass that test. Tube and cab/speaker selection and knowing how to actually dial a III correctly at various volumes are more critical. And if you get those variables right for your ears and hands, they are all superb, regardless of the series.

About a 35 year old Peavey head, 130 watts. Still on the original tubes. 2 -4x12 cabinets.

I suck too badly to know if I have a good amp or not.
It's a fun amp for a beginner to intermediate. If you ever were to get serious about gigging, I would recommend an upgrade, but it's probably perfect for what you use it for. My lead player plays on one, and trust me, ain't no one ever complained about his sound.

Use three amps built by me over last 20 years, each have been re-designed and re-built probably 3 times each.
20 watt, 2x 6v6 1x12 combo, copied Fender Deluxe Reverb circuit.
50 watt 2x 6L6 1x12 combo, mix of various circuits stolen from Fender, Mesa, and Dumble designs.
Copy of Fender 5E3 tweed deluxe also 1x12 combo.
Copy of Fender stand alone Reverb unit for above.
Also have a 1970s Silverface Princeton Reverb that mostly stays in the closet, have owned it close to forever, it is the only factory built amp I have.

Pedals:
Boss blues driver, behringer multi-fx that I use for delay, vox wah, boss over drive
Next pedal I want is a Bluesky reverberator
