Great but forgotten 80's songs - post them!

We had a similar thread about a year ago for the 90's. Why not do one for the 80's?
I stumbled upon this one a couple days ago. I probably hadn't heard it since I was a child. Totally forgot about it and I never ever see it on 80's playlists.
Matthew Wilder - Break My Stride

Gerard Mcmann - Cry Little Sister this was from the Lost Boys soundtrack, and it is a great track
ETA: good call with Break My Stride by the way. I didn't recognize it until that chorus. Cheesy fun

Up the Neck - The Pretender
Not sure if this is a forgotten one but I had forgotten how great it was until I ran across vinyl last week with this one on it.

Radio friendly -- Might be forgotten for pretty good reason:
April Wine -- I Like To Rock
Billy Thorpe -- Children Of The Sun
Jay Ferguson -- Thunder Island -- Maybe a bit cheesy.
John Cougar -- I Need A Lover -- Before he dropped Couger and just went with Mellencamp. Still my favorite song ever by him by FAR.
Less radio friendly:
The Jim Carroll Band -- People Who Died
Suicidal Tendencies -- Institutionalized
Suicidal Tendencies -- I Saw Your Mommy
Time Zone -- World Destruction
Faith No More -- We Care A Lot

So funny that you posted Break My Stride. I had my knee scoped for a torn meniscus on Friday and a friend of mine texted me on Monday those lyrics as a "pep text".
She's a chick obviously.

Crowded House - World Where You Live
Here's someone now who's got the muscle
His steady hand could move a mountain
Expert in bed, but come on now
There must be something missing
That golden one leads a double life
You'll find out
It's about me
Eta: there is a really good live, acoustic version out there with Crowded House, Ben Harper and Eddie Vedder

Used to destroy the high school GF to Breathe songs. Stevie B was so bad he was good.

Icicle Works - Birds Fly (Whisper to a Scream)
After the Fire - Der Kommissar
Madness - It Must Be Love
Pat Travers - I La la love you
Plimsouls - A Million Miles Away
Squeeze - Up the Junction
and so many more.
PS - Jay Ferguson's Thunder Island is great (and cheesy) but it was released in '77.
