Grace Slick vs. Stevie Nicks

Ok, so I've recently been listening to a lot of Fleetwood Mac and Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship/Starship. I've always been a big fan of FM and I just got into the Jefferson incarnation bands. This has got me thinking - which of these two powerhouse female vocalists is better, and why?

Stevie Nicks - I just like her voice better.

Stevie Nicks easily in my opinion. The only thing good about Starship was Micky Thomas.

Stevie Nicks...Dreams, in my opinion, is the best female rock song ever

Stevie.
If I remember correctly, Grace didn't even start into music until late in her life. She was a model previously and then started up Great Society with her family in the mid-60s. A couple years later she joined Jefferson Airplane when Signe Anderson left.
Stevie just has it, for me. She's been about music her entire life. I'll take her vocals of Grace's. But both are welcomed.

Stevie is still hittable. Grace looks like a grandmaw, and not the Helen Mirren type grandmaw at that.

Grace Slick. Great vocalist, wrote one classic rock song (White Rabbit) and sang lead vocals on another (Somebody to Love); plus she's a very interesting person: smart, outspoken, funny.
Oh, she also planned to spike the White House punch bowl with LSD when she was invited (God knows how) to meet Reich Chancellor Richard Nixon, evidence of her great patriotism and love of country.

This is another one I cannot do. Love them both. Way too many people don't know some of the better stuff from Airplane.

It's hard for me too! Both songs "Sara" by Starship and FM are two of my favorite songs of all time.

The answer is Ann Dustin Wilson

"We Built This City" automatically means Stevie wins.

"The only good thing about Starship was Micky Thomas"
"Oh my"
I don't know about being "the only good thing" about Starship but MT was a great vocalist. He's the first thing that comes to mind when I'm reminded of that band. No Way Out was a great lost hit of theirs and shows how talented he is. Of course, Sara is their big hit that showcases him.
GS was cool on White Rabbit and also sounded great on Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now but Stevie wins pretty easily. Not only did she have the FM work but she also had some excellent solo hits.
