Im awful with remembering song names. I called the bad little doggie opener. There was a sweet mountain jam tease.

So did the power get turned back on? where did set 2 get played?
ETA: Warren is a god and knew the power was going out. Why do you think he played Blind Man in the Dark 2nd song? it was cause he knew after the 1st set power was done.

power was out about an hour, from 920-1020 or so. about 10 minutes after it came on, mule came out. kick arse show, far exceeded my expectations.

funny thing about a show like that with the power going out is that it will be one of the most memorable shows for the band and the fans.

Mule always kicks arse, I am going to drive over to mobile tomorrow since I couldn't make it to BR last night.
Acoustic set in the dark would have been amazing.
How was the breakdown? I got a favorite playlist of mule covers, I think that one might need to get added if they rocked it out like they usually do.
ETA: or did they just go into it for like 45 seconds?

Probably, just cause Warren is the bees knees and does cool shite all the time.

Breakdown was awesome, it was the full song and it was like karoke in the place. Brought the energy in the place sky high.

Uh,no.
Mule has had a very storied career. The Deepest End, Xmas jams, Mountain Jams, Wanees,etc...

Hopefully it will be a similar set in Tunica tonight. A lot of my favorites are on that list.

i'm just telling you as someone who actually has played in bands, shows like that are talked about the most.

I really don't think that holds true for Warren Haynes. A little blackout isn't even the most memorable thing he has had happen to him this month.
