I’m on my phone and I’m too slow to post a link.
Are there any fans of this woman on the board? Her
work with David Rawlings, for example, is great.
I really recommend her if you like rootsy
Country/folk/ Appalachian, etc, although she’s actually from New York.
Check out her song entitled Wrecking Ball ( not to be confused with Miley Cyrus)

I love this one Look at Miss Ohio

She also has a cover of Blackstar by Radiohead that is really good.

She's okay. Her voice gets a little grating after a while though.

I really like her song Caleb Myer.

slightly more energetic live with Rawlings:

The album version with full instrumentation is pretty sweet.

I got her CD "Revival" many moons ago. I love it. Every single song on it. particularly like these

Orphan Girl

Pass me by

By the Mark

Haven't heard anything I don't like from her, though I haven't really followed her career for some reason.

Been a huge fan for a while now. I consume everything she and Dave do, regardless of who's name comes first.

I found her through the TV show Hell On Wheels, which featured one of her songs in a really amazing fashion.

Her voice and Dave's playing are so magical together, they totally helped broaden my musical horizons.

For the deep fan, Boots No 1: The Official Revival Bootleg was very satisfying. Lots of killer version of tunes you already love.

Damn, just found out that she and Dave are the one's that wrote When A Cowboy Trades In His Spurs For Wings in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

Rawlings is a respected producer, as well

He’s produced at least one album for O C. M.S.

She's great. Here's a fantastic cover she did on a Mississippi John Hurt tribute album. It'll sing your sweet soul right on to sleep...

Come on and go to Beulah Land, way beyond the sky
