Taking the wife to see George Strait tomorrow at Mercedes Benz Stadium. Looking for parking advice. I see lots nearby online. Wondering if any to avoid. Thanks.

If you are willing to park in a garage and walk a few blocks you will save some money.

talk about 2 sides of a coin

Eric church to blow it out and then King George who stands in one place is as exciting as watching paint dry.

I’ll be there. I bit the bullet and paid $50 to park right outside the stadium.

Saw him in Bossier when I was a kid, amazing show and his band is awesome. He doesn't do Garth Brooks entrances from the ceiling but he still puts on a great show.

I saw him in the Superdome for Bayou Country Superfest a few years ago and it was great

Rememeber that time George was sick and they sent a body double out there to stand at the mic for him? He stands center stage at the mic the whole concert. You'd never know if it was him or not.

George is only 69. I remember when he "retired" when he was 59.

The concert I saw his band was having a hard time staying awake.

He put on a good show last night. Played for about 2 and a half hours.

Bought a $32 parking pass for the CNN parking deck next door. I must've not went to the right entrance and ended up driving around to the back side to get in. There was no one working the gates so I bypassed the arm and jumped the curb in our Jeep and parked on the upper deck. The deck was damn near empty. We asked an attendent we finally found if we could park anywhere and she replied, "yeah park anywhere, this is a free parking lot". I still don't know where I was suppposed to park, maybe one of the lower levels of parking deck. I jumped the same curb on the way out of the deck. It was nearly empty before and after the concert.

The show was great too. Prefer George Strait to the other guy.

saw the setlist, i know its impossible to put together a setlist for George, but he did 6 covers and some new songs.

6 covers? You're King George with 60 number 1 songs

Had no idea you could look up the setlist from a concert. I just pulled it up and looked at them. You're right, we wanted to hear more of his songs and didn't get even all the good ones. Didn't recognize them all when he played. Was shocked he played a Tom Petty song too. But all in all it was a good show.

You'll never hear ALL the hits, there's too many!

Not a flashy performer, but enjoyable concert.

To be fair, he has recorded four of those.

Milkcow Blues and Take Me Back to Tulsa have been staples of his shows for decades. Wrapped was a top 5 single. Old Violin was on his latest record.

Still does.

I thought King George simply "retired" from large tours but always said he'd still play shows here and there.
