Odds are better that I was deep up inside your mum and listening to rock music while you were still swimming inside your daddy's nut sack.
Rock music today, including Dissection, is pretty much awful.

The Bulletboys were a spinoff of King Kobra, who make the Bulletboys look like a biker gang in comparison. And if I recall correctly, KK's singer, Mark Free, underwent gender change surgery after the band's demise and is now "Marcie."

Listening to Maiden. Saxon, Priest, Motorhead etc. Y&T is not really Hair Metal though. Hair Metal to me equates to Poison, Bon Jovi, Cinderella etc. Only real Hair Metal I liked was Ratt.

When I sold my album collection on Ebay in the 90s I had - including some duplicates and a few foreign releases - 18 Black Sabbath albums.
Rising Force opening for Dio was the best concert I ever attended.
I'm not going to dog you for no liking the butt rock genre.
But a lot of good music happened there that is much better than current what's on the current Top 40 hard rock charts.
Lay it down.
