The master plan (all b sides) is probably their third best album and up there with the first two.

A little Noel tidbit. A Baton Rouge High guy was a Flying Bird for 5-6 years.

Bonehead is back. He played with Liam this summer.

Guigsy quit playing base for them after the 3rd album.

While I certainly hope he is, I don't think Bonehead is confirmed yet. Couple of newspapers reporting today that this will be just Liam with the High Flying Birds. Not including Bonehead would be a major buzzkill.

Its probably money but I hope as they are both much older they realize they need each other.

He’s been pretty vocal about the reunion for awhile. I know he’s toured with Liam a few times now. He just beat cancer in the last couple years as well. He was so much of their sound. Only way I see it not happening is Noel being a prick and demanding his high flying birds guy in there for the payday.

Couldn't agree more. He's a huge part of their sound. He's also made all the difference in the world to Liam's backing band.

Back when Oasis were still together, most people thought Liam was the obnoxious one. Since that time Liam has been humbled quite a bit and is now the fan favorite, and Noel is the dick. Liam interacts with fans on Twitter quite a lot.

Noel is only agreeing to a reunion for the money (he recently went through an expensive divorce), whereas Liam has been very vocal about wanting an Oasis reunion for the fans for a long time now.

FWIW, both of them are funny as f*ck and could have been legit stand up comedians lol.

Quoting the Supersonic documentary (I believe it was their tour manager, Maggie Mouzakitis who said) "Noel has a lot of buttons and Liam has a lot of fingers"

I always had the impression that by 2009 Noel was ready to chill out and Liam was still living the Rock-N-Roll lifestyle of their early days. Seems like they have both matured over the past 15yrs.

First you have to understand that these dudes were from a very working class Irish family in England. You needed Noel’s song writing and you needed Liam singing those songs or the whole swagger that oasis had never exists.

The way I’d describe it is Liam is the more eccentric dude who would be more in your face prickish at times. He’d annoy the shite out of you with his bullshite but he’s likely going to be the first one to jump in if someone was messing with you. He’s the loud mouth good buddy that you fight a lot with.

Noel is more the “my shite doesn’t stink and I’m smarter than you type.” He was calmer and went on a hell of a songwriting tear for quite a few years. He had a sense of superiority but also knew he needed Liam’s edge and cocksure rock star persona to sing most of their songs and to be the front man. He didn’t mind kicking out other members that he didn’t feel like lived up to his standards.

With that being said he put up with A LOT of Liam’s shite over the years and should be commended for it. One of the best accounts of this was Liam going on a bender before their MTV unplugged show where Noel had to sing and Liam kept fricking with him from the balcony.

When they split in 09 Noel’s new wife had major issues with Liam. Their recent divorce probably helped move this reunion along in multiple ways.

Some of the jabs they’ve taken at each other over the years have been absolutely hilarious though. As other have said they’re actually pretty funny dudes and aren’t PC at all.
