Fret Shack- Question For Patrick

Hello. I have an Epiphone Les Paul that tried to fight me and I won. When I tripped over her on her guitar stand she hit the floor and completely severed the head stock. I have much more expensive guitars and honestly I don't play this one much at all but it was given to me by my son so it's important that I have it repaired for the sentimental value if nothing else. I know it's a fairly common problem on Gibsons and Epis and other Les Pauls. My question is can you give me a ball park guess on the cost of such a repair? I have zero clue. Thank you. Maybe someone else will shed some light from their own experience with this.

Jeff repaired my snapped Gibson LP headstock 5 or 6 years ago and I want to say I paid like $150 for it.
Good thing about snapped headstocks is that they're way stronger after being repaired. You would have to try exceptionally hard to break it again.

I've never seen a Gibson Les Paul without a serial number on the back of the headstock.

I have Carson's LP's SN on file so I probably photoshopped the actual number out to not share it with the Chibson sweatshops.
Patrick should be chiming in soon. Meanwhile, from my days at the helm ...
The big Q that determines headstock repair prices is if the client wants only a structural repair; or wants the repair plus cosmetic work (filler and spray prep, partial or full respray with compound and/or color match, wetsanding and buffing) to make the fix invisible or as unsightly as possible.
Simple structural repairs (clean crack or break) with light cosmetic cleanup (Carson's example) were typically between $100 and $200 when I did repair work.
Add missing wood and/or cosmetic cover-ups, however, and it will go up exponentially. Partial respray alone, depending on nitro vs poly, solid color match vs. transparent color concealment (EXTREMELY difficult, even for very experienced shops) ... expect at least double or triple, possibly even quintuple or sextuple, the price.
