Maybe I'm Amazed is arguably the greatest and most passionate love song I've ever heard, bar none.

Band on the Run is one of my favorite songs of all time. Seventies LP songs. Great for road trips. I'm just sorry I was too young to appreciate the decade in all of it's glory.

Musician credits for the entire album, McCartney:

Paul McCartney – lead vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, piano, organ, percussion, Mellotron, toy xylophone, effects, backing vocals

Linda McCartney – harmony and backing vocals

That's it. Other than Linda's voice, Paul made every sound on the album.

Paul was just one of those geniuses that Prince absorbed and brought to its logical conclusion. Obviously, he wasn't as commercially successful as Paul but Paul set a template.

Just curious (with a couple of McCartney threads being on the front page) - anybody make Sir Paul's concert in Little Rock (well, NORTH Little Rock) last night?

I like Jet as well, especially when performed live.

Yes it is. Especially the live version on Wings Over America. It just absolutely jams.

As did I.

One of my all time favorite albums period though is Wings over America. Songs like Let Me Roll It and Spirits Of Ancient Egypt, just to name a few, are just so damn raw and powerful on it.

Three record live album. I thought I hit the mother lode when I bought it. Still remember it like it was yesterday. Bought it at Leisure Landing on Chimes St.

Damn man. Good times.

This was before auto-tune so I think they just turned her down. A lot.
