The 3 that I remember as the earliest songs that I paid attention to:
ABC & Rockin’ Robin - The Jackson 5
Burning Love - Elvis Presley

Gentle On My Mind - Glen Campbell
My grandmother L-O-V-E-D Glen Campbell. I have this (hers) vinyl album and hope to pass it down to my grandchildren with a couple of stories.

Yeah, I can remember plenty of those songs from TV shows, before I ever heard The Beatles, but that time hearing Love Me Do was the first specific memory that I can link to a song. That's still a pretty vivid memory.
I'm pretty sure we were going to the Smokies for vacation that day.

I am sure I heard lots of music earlier than this - heck I’d been to concerts before this - but I have a vivid memory of my mom giving me change to feed into a juke box at a Dairy Queen in Texarkana, TX to play the Doobie Brothers’ “Black Water” over and over

Not the first song I heard but The Bare Necessities from The Jungle Book was my first favorite song that I listened to over and over again on a 45 record played on a little record player made for children. That was probably around 1970 or so.

You're right.
...and the song didn't fit the movie at all.

I know 'Here Comes the Sun' (Beatles) and 'Blue Sky' (The Allman Brothers) were two that I remember hearing at a young age and paying attention to (thinking about lyrics and what they meant).
Whatever version of Another Brick in the Wall that played on the radio nearly non-stop in the early 80s is another one.
I'm assuming we're not talking about Patty Cake and How Much is that Doggie in the Window type songs.

What song is etched in your mind as the earliest song you remember hearing as a kid?
Mom listened almost exclusively to mainstream country radio in the early 90s while driving us around and all that crap blends together. The one that stands out was "Be My Baby Tonight" by John Michael Montgomery.
My parents never played their records at home, so car music was all we had and it changed depending on much of the morning shows my mom could stand:90s Country -> Golden Oldies -> Classic Rock.
No matter what I thought as a kid or as a teenager, I didn't start to really appreciate music as an art form until my early 20s.
