The first concert I ever went to was Alabama at the Astrodome.

The first music event I ever paid to attend was Space Girl at The State Palace.

The first actual concert I ever paid to see, that I can remember, was Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick.

Air Supply at the 1984 World's Fair. I was young and went with my family.

My first concert as a teenager was INXS at the Municipal Auditorium.

Played at my high school. As did the Byrds, Turtles and other bands. It wasn't a big deal back then: I suppose the bands' record companies and managers had them playing anywhere around town to build up a following and make a buck. High school gigs were pretty common back then.

My parents were big concert fans and I saw lots when I was a kid. My old man was a fan of soul so I got to see the Four Tops, Temptations, Tina Turner, Al Green and others. Let me be the first to tell you, they dont make performers like that any more...

The first concert I went to on my own was when I was 17 years old. Type O Negative and Godflesh opening for Danzig at the International Ballroom in Atlanta.

My first was Snoop Dogg at the Varsity a few years ago, but that doesn't count.

My first real real concert was Lady Gaga.
