going even older I would say We'll meet again- Vera Lynn is a great one.

Another one is Star Dust - Glenn Miller. When I was little my Grandfather would take me to his WW2 Marine Corp reunions and some 45 years later grown men would still cry when they heard this song. They told me a Jap radio DJ would always play it over the air to make them homesick but all it did was make them want to kill Japs that much more.
